Booking is by telephone only
Vaccinations cannot be booked online. Timing and intervals matter, so we check your record first and then advise — this is why we ask you to telephone on 043-486-0200.
Calls are answered in Japanese only. If language is a difficulty, you are welcome to come to reception in person and arrange it there with a translation app.
Influenza vaccination can be booked online during the season.
For children
Routine childhood vaccinations are given here, including the five-in-one vaccine, pneumococcal, rotavirus, hepatitis B, BCG, MR (measles and rubella), chickenpox, mumps, Japanese encephalitis, DT and HPV.
Please bring the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, and the voucher from your city if you have one. If your child was vaccinated overseas, bring the record — schedules differ between countries and we will work out what is still needed.
For adults
Influenza, shingles, pneumococcal vaccination for older adults, and others on request.
Cost
Residents of Sakura City may be eligible for public subsidy for certain vaccinations, in which case you pay little or nothing. Vaccinations outside those programmes are paid in full by you. Prices are listed on the Japanese-language fee page.
